If anyone is having trouble with finding a tarpon, you can use #4 Barbless with a large minnow about 20 inches down and cast straight out at about -118,46, need to have a decent float rod like the Ardex 13' 2" and for the reel I was using the Hornet Swarm 4000, I got it at level 29. Could never get it to hit with DLC bottom rod :( hope this helps anyone struggling like I was!

Seems like the weight of the bigger fish makes level 26 hard to make money staying there, given the largest fish cabin could only hold a couple big ones.

A much easier way to do this is to go to the docks, where you’re guaranteed a snag in the cattails 100% of the time. This method with the rocks did not work for me at all.

So I know this game is free on the PlayStation 4 but before I considered downloading it I have one important question You see I recently tried Call of the Wild angler because I like the hunter Call of the Wild and it's made by the same company. But I got bored very quickly when I learned all it is is casting the line out and then reeling it back without the fish fighting back at all What I want to know is do the fish actually fight back requiring you to move your Rod left and right or up and down are you reel them in?

Enjoyed this game at first, until it lets you unlock items and can't use them! Really no point in them letting us be able to buy things and not actually be able to equip them. I'm at level 5, got the exact same reel for the starting set up and won't let me change over to the reel with no wear and tear on it.
